For our team, a practical workshop seems more useful than a long lecture. People need to practise the new process, not just hear about it. A workshop would allow them to ask questions while completing a task. This is based on our recent experience with similar training. A lecture might still be suitable for a large introductory event. The best format depends on what participants should be able to do afterwards.
