If we had compared the full service costs, we might have chosen another supplier. The initial price looked attractive, but the maintenance fee was higher. We could have avoided the surprise if we had requested a detailed quotation. However, the supplier did deliver everything on time. If we had focused only on the price, we would have overlooked that advantage too. Our next comparison should include both cost and reliability.
