The riverside venue has an attractive setting, but its main room is too small. Capacity is a requirement rather than a preference for this event. The central venue meets that requirement and is easier to reach by public transport. Its main disadvantage is the limited time available for setting up. We could reduce that difficulty by using equipment already installed there. On balance, the central venue appears to be the more practical choice.
