The original instruction asked users to "undertake verification of the accuracy of the information provided". For a practical form, "check that the information is correct" communicates the same action more directly. The revision reduces the number of abstract nouns without changing the requirement. A formal tone does not require unnecessary distance between the reader and the action. Where responsibility matters, name the person or team expected to act. Where the process itself is the topic, an appropriate noun form may still be useful.
