Combining an interview and an activity log

A bilingual reading that brings this unit's language together in context.

Read the English text first, then check the translation. This reading intentionally brings the unit examples together in context. Note the main idea and two expressions you could use.

Text and translation

The activity log in this exercise shows that several users returned repeatedly to the instructions page. An interview with one participant suggests that the examples were being used as a reference. The interview offers a plausible explanation for some of the repeated visits. It cannot establish that every visitor returned for the same reason. Combining the sources helps identify a question worth investigating rather than settling it immediately. A follow-up question could distinguish useful reference use from difficulty understanding the instructions.
