Text and translation

A source-by-source summary would describe each document separately from beginning to end. A thematic synthesis instead groups the evidence around shared questions. In this example, the useful themes are access, clarity and the time required to complete a task. Within each theme, the writer explains where the documents agree and where they differ. Specific figures or quotations should remain attributable to the source that provides them. The resulting account can be integrated without blurring the origin or limits of the evidence.
