We can commit to sending a checked draft by Friday; we cannot yet commit to final approval on that date. The distinction is essential because approval depends on feedback from another team. An emphatic assurance that "everything will be finished" would conceal that dependency. A narrower commitment is more useful if it tells the recipient exactly what to expect. We should also state when we expect to receive the remaining feedback. Confidence is best expressed through a clear, achievable undertaking rather than an unlimited guarantee.
