The revised guide provides clearer headings, shorter examples and, most usefully, a single route through the initial setup. The final element receives emphasis because the sentence builds towards it. That structure works when the earlier items prepare the reader for the main contribution. A long sequence of preliminary details would delay the point rather than strengthen it. The writer should therefore retain only the details that help establish the intended emphasis. Sentence rhythm depends on selection as much as on length.
