The recommendation cites the success of a booking system at a neighbouring arts centre. It assumes that the two centres have sufficiently similar activities for the same approach to transfer easily. Our centre, however, handles group reservations that the other centre rarely receives. That difference does not make the comparison irrelevant, but it limits the conclusions we can draw from it. The useful question is which features transfer directly and which require adaptation. A careful comparison can inform a trial without becoming a substitute for one.
