Text and translation
I was travelling home when the train stopped between two stations. Most passengers were reading or looking at their phones. At first, nobody knew why we had stopped. While we were waiting, the driver made an announcement. A signal problem was delaying several trains on the line. We finally reached the station forty minutes later.
كنت في طريقي إلى المنزل عندما توقف القطار بين محطتين. كان معظم الركاب يقرؤون أو ينظرون إلى هواتفهم. في البداية، لم يعرف أحد سبب توقفنا. بينما كنا ننتظر، أذاع السائق إعلانًا. كانت مشكلة في الإشارات تؤخر عدة قطارات على الخط. وصلنا أخيرًا إلى المحطة بعد أربعين دقيقة.
