Text and translation
We were preparing the room while the guests were arriving. I was testing the projector when the screen went dark. My colleague checked the cable while I welcomed the audience. The equipment still did not work, so we changed our plan. I explained the main ideas using the printed handouts. By the end, the audience was asking questions instead of watching slides.
