Text and translation

What would you do if you found an expensive phone on a train? I would give it to a member of staff at the next station. If there were no staff nearby, I would ask where lost property was handled. I would not try to open the owner's private messages. If someone called the phone, I could explain where I was taking it. That would help the owner recover it without sharing personal information.
